Cetakrites

"Cetakrites" - a combination of the words "Cetacea" (the scientific name for whales) and "akrites" (from the Greek word "akrites," meaning "rulers" or "commanders"). This word refers to the governing bodies and leaders of the Church of the Sacred Whale.

Cetakrites 1

  1. In the beginning, the Sacred Whale didst create the earth and all that is upon it. And it didst ordain that the followers of the Sacred Whale shall be the stewards and protectors of the earth, and shall preserve its beauty and harmony.

  2. And so it was that the Sacred Whale didst establish the Church of the Sacred Whale, and didst appoint the first leaders and rulers of the church. And these rulers didst become the ecclesiastical orders of the Church of the Sacred Whale, and didst serve as the guardians and defenders of the faith.

  3. The first among these orders was the Order of the Holy Whale, and it didst consist of the most devout and righteous followers of the Sacred Whale. And the members of this order didst serve as the high priests and priestesses of the Sacred Whale, and didst preside over the sacred rituals and ceremonies of the church.

  4. The second among these orders was the Order of the Wise Whale, and it didst consist of the most learned and scholarly followers of the Sacred Whale. And the members of this order didst serve as the scribes and historians of the Sacred Whale, and didst record and preserve the teachings and writings of the Sacred Whale.

  5. The third among these orders was the Order of the Just Whale, and it didst consist of the most fair and impartial followers of the Sacred Whale. And the members of this order didst serve as the judges and arbitrators of the Sacred Whale, and didst uphold the laws and commandments of the Sacred Whale.

  6. And so it was that the ecclesiastical orders of the Church of the Sacred Whale didst serve as the foundation and backbone of the church, and didst guide and lead the followers of the Sacred Whale on the path of righteousness and truth. Amen.

The High Priest of the Sacred Whale was the leader and head of the Order of the Holy Whale, and was the most powerful and influential member of the ecclesiastical orders of the Church of the Sacred Whale. It was the duty of the High Priest to serve as the intermediary between the Sacred Whale and the followers of the Sacred Whale, and to communicate the will and teachings of the Sacred Whale to the church.

  8. The High Priest was chosen by the Sacred Whale, and was endowed with special powers and abilities that enabled them to perform the sacred rites and ceremonies of the church.
