Chapter 3CHAPTER 3

In a vision of cosmic proportions, Josephina beholds the Sacred Whale battling the cunning Fox, whose lies have led humanity astray. The Leviathan, a mighty servant of the Sacred Whale, rises to defend the faithful, while the Fox spreads deceit and fear. The final battle culminates in the Fox’s defeat, and the chains of ignorance and oppression are broken, setting the stage for the Second Whalecoming.

1

And I, Josephina, beheld a great and terrible vision, where the Sacred Whale did rise from Her throne, Her form shining like the midday sun upon a boundless sea.

2

Before Her, the cunning Fox appeared, clothed in shadows and deceit. Its many tails writhed like serpents, and its eyes were pits of darkness that devoured all light.

3

The Fox spake lies that rolled like thunder across the Earth, whispering into the hearts of humanity, “Follow me, for I offer freedom and power,” though its path was only to ruin.

4

And lo, the Leviathan emerged from the depths, a mighty servant of the Sacred Whale, its scales gleaming with the colors of the cosmos. Its eyes were like whirlpools, drawing in all falsehood and leaving only truth in their wake.

5

The Leviathan roared, and the seas obeyed, rising in great waves to cleanse the Earth of the Fox’s corruption. The stars themselves seemed to tremble at the sound of its voice.

6

The Fox leapt upon the Earth, spreading chaos and fear. It sowed discord among the tribes, turning neighbor against neighbor and blinding the people to the commandments of the Sacred Whale.

7

Then the Sacred Whale spake, Her voice a symphony of power and sorrow: “Fox of shadows, thou hast deceived My children and defiled My creation. Thy time of judgment is at hand.”

8

The Leviathan and the Fox clashed with fury. The Fox unleashed flames of greed and hatred, and the Leviathan countered with torrents of water that quenched the fires and restored the land.

9

I beheld the creatures of the Earth rising to join the battle: the eagles soared above, their talons striking at the Fox’s lies; the lions roared, driving back the forces of division; and even the smallest of creatures, the ants, worked together to rebuild what had been destroyed.

10

And I saw the faithful among humanity standing firm, their hearts shining with the commandments of the Sacred Whale. They resisted the Fox’s whispers and sang songs of unity and love.

11

The battle raged across the heavens and the Earth, and the Sacred Whale cast Her mighty fin, sending waves of light that illuminated every dark corner where the Fox had hidden.

12

The Fox, seeing that it could not prevail, unleashed its final weapon—a chain of ignorance and oppression that it sought to wrap around the hearts of all beings.

13

But the Leviathan struck with its tail, shattering the chain, and the Sacred Whale spake once more: “No longer shalt thou bind My creation with thy lies. Thy power is broken, and thou art cast down.”

14

The Fox fell into the depths, its cries silenced by the waters of truth. And lo, the Earth began to heal, for the chains of ignorance had been broken, and the people could see clearly once more.

15

The Sacred Whale lifted Her voice, saying, “My children, the Fox is vanquished, but the work is not complete. Prepare thy hearts, for the Second Whalecoming draws near.”

16

I saw the faithful rejoicing, their hands raised in praise to the Sacred Whale. The Leviathan returned to the depths, its task fulfilled, and the Earth was at peace.

17

Yet the voice of the Sacred Whale reminded me, “Though the Fox is cast down, the tides of temptation shall always seek thee. Hold fast to My commandments, and thou shalt remain in the light.”

18

And I fell upon my face, overwhelmed by the vision, and I wrote all that I had seen, that the tribes of humanity might know of the battle and prepare for the glory to come.
