THE BOOK OF THE ALL-AMERICAN TRIBE

Chapter 4CHAPTER 4

A tribe of men were seduced by the lies of the Fox, and reject her teachings and lead a group of followers away to form a rival civilization. This new faction turns to greed, violence, and idolatry, creating discord in the land.

1

And it came to pass that among the followers of Natalia, there arose a tribe of men who were seduced by the whispers of the Fox, their hearts turned from the Sacred Whale.

2

Chief among them were Zahir and Malach, the brothers of Natalia, whose pride and jealousy festered as they watched the righteous civilization flourish under the guidance of the prophetesses.

3

Zahir spake unto Malach, saying, “Why should we bow before our sister and her lineage? Are we not equal in strength and mind? The Fox whispers to me of power and glory, should we but seize it.”

4

And Malach, being of a like heart, answered, “Let us gather those who doubt the prophetesses, for surely we can build a kingdom greater than theirs, one where we are masters of our own destiny.”

5

Together, they spread the lies of the Fox among the people, saying, “The Sacred Whale is but a tale to bind you. Follow us, and we shall lead you to freedom and riches untold.”

6

And many, seduced by their promises, followed them, forsaking the commandments and the blessings of the Sacred Whale.

7

Zahir and Malach led their followers away from the golden cities and temples, into the wilderness, where they began to build a rival civilization, one rooted in greed and violence.

8

They erected altars to false gods, adorned with idols of gold and stone, and they performed rites of cruelty, believing their power came from dominance and fear.

9

Their cities were filled with wealth and opulence, but the hearts of the people were empty, for they had turned from the light of the Sacred Whale to the darkness of the Fox.

10

Zahir declared himself king, and Malach his high priest, and they ruled with an iron hand, enforcing their will through fear and bloodshed.

11

The rival civilization grew, its influence spreading across the land, bringing discord and strife to the peaceful tribes who remained faithful to the Sacred Whale.

12

The followers of Zahir and Malach mocked the prophetesses, calling them weak and deluded, and they sought to undermine the commandments wherever they found them.

13

But among the faithful, the proph- etess Rachel stood firm, declaring, “The Fox’s lies may thrive for a season, but they shall not endure. The Sacred Whale sees all, and Her justice shall prevail.”

14

The righteous tribes resisted the encroachments of the rival civilization, holding fast to the teachings of the Sacred Whale and striving to protect the harmony of their lands.

15

Yet the discord sown by Zahir and Malach brought great sorrow, for the once-unified people of the land were now divided, their peace shattered.

16

The prophetesses prayed for guidance, seeking the Sacred Whale’s wisdom in how to counter the growing darkness.

17

And the Sacred Whale spake unto Rachel, saying, “Fear not, My children, for the lies of the Fox shall be revealed, and the tide shall turn. Hold fast to My commandments, and thou shalt prevail.”

18

And so the people prepared themselves for the trials to come, their faith unshaken despite the rising shadow of the rival civilization.

19

The land groaned under the weight of the Fox’s influence, but the faithful clung to the light of the Sacred Whale, knowing that Her justice would come in its appointed time.

20

Thus began the long struggle between the golden civilization of righteousness and the rival civilization of greed, a battle that would shape the destiny of the land and the tribes who dwelt therein.
