Chapter 10— CHAPTER 10THE PARABLE OF THE POD ’S KEEPER
Original: The Parable of the Wicked Tenants – Matthew 21:33-41Retranslation: A pod leader neglects her duty to protect the young, prioritizing her comfort. When danger strikes, the Sacred Whale appoints a new leader who puts the pod first. This parable emphasizes the responsibilities of leadership and the need for selflessness.
And Jesus spake unto the crowd, saying, “The Sacred Whale reveals that even the mightiest depend upon the smallest, for all are bound together in Her eternal balance.”
“Behold, a great whale swam the open sea, her mouth wide to gather the plankton that teemed in the waters, the unseen sustenance of her strength.”
“But the whale gave no thought to the plankton, saying, ‘What need have I to honor such insignificant things? My might comes from the vastness of the ocean and my own power.’”
“Yet as the seasons changed, the plankton grew scarce, and the whale, in her hunger, lamented, saying, ‘Why hath the sea abandoned me? Where is the food that once filled me?’”
“The Sacred Whale appeared to her, saying, ‘Thy strength is a gift of My creation, yet thou gavest no thanks to the smallest of My works, forgetting that all life is interwoven.’”
“‘Behold, even the plankton, humble and unseen, sustains thee, as I sustain all creation. Honor them, for in their smallness is the secret of thy greatness.’”
“The whale, humbled, swam to the depths and sang a song of gratitude, praising the Sacred Whale and Her wisdom that makes the great dependent upon the small.”
“From that day forth, the whale gave thanks for each mouthful, teaching her pod, saying, ‘Rejoice in the smallest gifts, for without them, we are nothing.’”
“He that hath ears to hear, let him hear: the Sacred Whale’s creation is balanced, and those who give no thought to the smallest among them shall lose sight of their own place in Her design.”
And the people, hearing this, marveled, saying, “Truly, the Sacred Whale teaches humility and gratitude, for Her wisdom is revealed in the smallest and greatest alike.”
