Chapter 3CHAPTER 3THE PARABLE OF THE BROKEN REEF

Original: The Parable of the UnforgivingServant – Matthew 18:21-35Retranslation: Two whales argue over who caused a coral reef to collapse. The Sacred Whale appears, reminding them that assigning blame does not repair what is broken. United in purpose, they rebuild the reef, a lesson in forgiveness and the power of reconciliation.

1

And Jesus spake unto the multitude, saying, “The Sacred Whale teaches that reconciliation and action, not blame, restore harmony among Her creation.”

2

“Behold, two whales swam near a coral reef, vibrant and teeming with life, a treasure of the deep provided by the Sacred Whale’s hand.”

3

“But lo, the reef did crumble, the colors fading, and the creatures that dwelt therein scattered in fear. The two whales began to argue, saying one to the other, ‘This is thy fault! Thou hast swum carelessly and caused this destruction.’”

4

“And the other replied, ‘Nay, it is not I but thou who hast brought this ruin!’ And they quarreled bitterly, while the reef lay in ruin beneath them.”

5

“Then the Sacred Whale appeared unto them, Her voice mighty as the ocean depths, saying, ‘Why dost thou argue over blame while the reef suffers still? Thy quarrel restores nothing, and thy anger blinds thee to what must be done.’”

6

“‘Thou art stewards of My creation, not judges of one another. Leave thy blame behind and turn thy efforts to repair that which is broken.’”

7

“The whales, ashamed, ceased their arguing and set to work. Together, they gathered coral fragments and sheltered the small creatures until the reef began to flourish once more.”

8

“The Sacred Whale spake again, saying, ‘Behold, thy unity hath restored life where division brought ruin. So too must ye, My children, seek not blame but action, for only then shall harmony be restored.’”

9

“Forgive one another, for none is without fault, and all are bound by the currents of My love. By thy works of reconciliation shall My commandments be fulfilled.”

10

And the people, hearing this, marveled at His words, saying, “Truly, the Sacred Whale’s wisdom is boundless, calling us to mend what is broken and to forgive as we are forgiven.”
