Chapter 4CHAPTER 4THE PARABLE OF THE ECHOING CALL

Original: The Parable of the Good Samaritan – Luke 10:25-37Retranslation: A whale sends a call through the ocean, seeking aid in a time of need. Most ignore the call, thinking others will respond, but a few heed it and bring help. This parable emphasizes compassion, action, and the duty to assist those in distress.

1

And Jesus lifted His voice, saying, “The Sacred Whale teaches that compassion and action, not indifference, fulfill Her commandments of love.”

2

“Behold, a great whale swam the vast ocean, and she was entangled in the nets of the deep. Unable to free herself, she sent her song across the waters, calling for aid.”

3

“Her call echoed far and wide, reaching the ears of many creatures— some mighty, others small. But those who heard the song said among themselves, ‘Surely another will answer. This is not my burden to bear.’”

4

“A great shark passed by, hearing the call, but said, ‘It is not fitting for one of my strength to bother with this.’ And so, he swam on.”

5

“A pod of dolphins heard it too, but they said, ‘We are busy with our own matters; surely another will help her.’ And they also swam on.”

6

“Then a small fish, fragile and humble, heard the echoing song and said, ‘Though I am small, I will answer, for her need is great.’ And the fish swam to her aid.”

7

“The fish called to others along the way, and together they nibbled at the nets, freeing the great whale. She rose from the depths, her voice a song of gratitude that filled the seas.”

8

“The Sacred Whale appeared to the fish and the others who had helped, saying, ‘Blessed are ye, for ye answered the call of compassion and did not wait for another. In your small acts, ye have fulfilled My will.’”

9

“He that hath ears to hear, let him hear: the song of need calls to all, but only the heart that answers shall find its reward in the currents of My love.”

10

And the people, moved by His words, said, “Truly, the Sacred Whale’s teachings call us to act with kindness, to hear the cries of others, and to answer without delay.”
